We are learning about harmony in 5th grade chorus! We are singing Let's Put the Rooster in the Stew (originally in French: Le Coq ist Mort, and exists in German and Spanish, and maybe your language too!)
We are moving forward to learn how to sightread 4 note melodies in the keys of F and G (Sol Mi Re Do)
The 5th grade was lucky enough to watch The Little Sweep by Benjamin Britten performed by the Budapest Festival Orchestra at AISB in our theater!! It was a tremendous opportunity, and we will connect that experience with Old Abram Brown from Friday Afternoons by Benjamin Britten along with others...

Toccata and Fugue in D Minor - Just for fun! We do a musical mad lib that we sing to the introduction- the grammar in this version is at a higher level than earlier years, but it's just as fun and silly!
