MULTIAGE SONGS
In Multiage, we are just getting to know each other, and just getting to know our own singing voices. Our singing voice (at this age) is using only the upper register. You can practice by imitating small animals: Puppies, Birdies, Kittens. Try making "roller coasters" with your voice to experiment with high sounds and lower sounds in your singing voice!

We march to begin Multiage (or refocus our group sometimes in the middle or at the end). We start with a steady beat and subdivide with our voices and feet (Meaning we sometimes go twice as fast, or sometimes cut it into three tiny beats within the big march beat) We skip to a skipping beat, and many of us can show you how we march if you ask!
We love stories, especially ones that have a song on each page! We read Pete the Cat books, John Denver books (yes! there are picture books!), John Lithgow books (Yes, the Footloose preacher writes children's books!), Puff the Magic Dragon, The Halloween House (year round, because it's a favorite!) and more!
